In 1995, the Nederland’s forces in UN helped the Serbs enter the city of Serbernitsa after 4 years of encircling the Muslim people there. In less than 48 hours, approximately 10000-12000 Muslim people were murdered. This is considered as one of the biggest genocides of the 20th century.
The documentary, “Mothers of Serbernitsa” is telling the story of killing of innocent human beings who lost everything but their esteem and pride. Those mothers with eyes full of tears witnessed falling down of their naive children and dead babies on the ground which smells like gun powder. Now, their question is: “Is there anybody around to explain these murders?”
